Talk dirty in free chat rooms

I like chatting more here than on Myspace, you have so many rooms to choose from and people to chat, weird, boring or cool you'll find those kind of people here :)I've been coming to TC for years and i love the comfortable and simple feel of the place. Its perfect to sign onto a nice scrolling black chat room after a long day and chat until i'm ready to sleep. But what *is* the difference between Chat Rooms and IM? In both pages emphasis is given on the difference with forums and with e-mail, but not to distinguish one from the other.Diego Moya , 31 August 2005 (UTC) It would be very nice to have a sort of history on them, but I have no Googling skills at all, and so I can't seem to find any information...It doesn't fit the other links as they all talk about chatrooms, not implement them. .12 (talk) , 24 January 2010 (UTC)

I think chatroom (or chat room) is a general non-technical term, popularised by the media.

Our chat service lets you text chat with randomly selected people from all over the world in private chat rooms.

You don't have to spend time with registration forms – just chat with a stranger.

While most IRC servers and their early clients were primarily written on and for UNIX systems, neither were included in any standard UNIX distribution. ICQ has made an option to random chat [1] [2] but it's not very popular [3] [4], whereas there are some other attempts [5]... I noticed two apparent bugs on this page which appear to be some kind of "Graffiti" Part way down, "Smelly Poopers" appears in line with the text under one of the sections. Maybe just a glitch, but it seems unlikely to be random. No need to discuss it, just go ahead and remove the vandalism.

This kind of chat is a way to avoid buddy list chat. You might also want to notify the vandal with the appropriate warning.
